At the time this team was formed, the Cleveland Gibbs and Soul Patrol from
Atlanta were the top nine man teams in the country. Both extremely physical and
very, very, big. The Renegades were undefeated going into the Championship game
having knocked off Soul Patrol in the Semi-Final game. The team came up 6 points
short in the title game against Cleveland. The Renegades had two second half
scores called back because of questionable penalties.

Cleveland Gibbs in the title game of the 1993 Hilton Head Challenge.
Final Score was 26 to 19 in favor of Cleveland after two Scott Stankavage TD
throws to Tony DiMaggio and Jeff Shaner were called backed on questionable calls
from the refs.
Tournament record was 4 and 1.
Defeated Soul Patrol from Atlanta 20 to 17 in semi-final game to advance to
Championship game.
