2002 Orlando Nationals Preview                        Return

Yes, it's time to make that annual trip to Orlando for the U S F T L Nationals. The United States Flag Touch League is an outgrowth of the old St. Louis based National Touch Football League (NTFL). It is headed by Mike Cihon from Cleveland, Ohio.

Mike formed the USFTL in 1988 when the NTFL seemed uninterested in moving forward, or at least not moving as fast as Mike was willing too, and now host the largest amateur tournament in America outside of the College Nationals held in New Orleans each year.

North Carolina was represented by 4 teams in 9 Man and 8 Man divisions.

Congratulations to Pure Talent of Charlotte. The Number 1 ranked 9 Man Contact team in North Carolina traveled to Orlando for the National Championship.
