west of Raleigh
*Take I40 / I85 East to the split … stay on I 40 and continue towards Raleigh. *Continue on I40 East past the I440 Beltline … *Take Exit 298 - Downtown Raleigh - Capital Blvd. *Stay on Capital Blvd. … continue through downtown … *Go past the Wake Forest Road Exit (make sure you are in the right lane) … take the next exit past Wake Forest Road (about 100 yards). *At stop light (Atlantic Avenue) make right (look for Circus Drive In to the right) … go to light (about 40 yards), make left and then immediate left again … basically, you are headed right back out onto Capital Blvd. on the service road. *Go north on the service road for about 150 yards, at the car wash (Dennis Avenue) take a right and continue on Dennis Ave. until you see the park entrance … about a 3/4 mile. From East of Raleigh (Garner) highway 70.
