Summary: Tie game at half. Genesis took lead on French to Frost pass - score 12 to 6. Titans rallied on next play when Watkins fielded the kickoff and ran through 3 defenders finishing the play on a lateral to Sumpter for final 10 yards for the score. Watkins ran for the extra point to take the lead. With 1:30 to play, Genesis took over at the 30 and drove 45 yards to the 5 yard line. On 3rd and goal and 5 seconds in game, French pass fell incomplete. The play only ran off 4 seconds and gave Genesis a final 4th down play - French ran the ball in from the 5. |
